TGGL Carjitsu Exhibition Beeman vs Hudak

In the weeks leading up to the inaugural season of TGGL, Tackle Jiujitsu has offered up a desirable selection of exhibition matches to act as precursor to the following league matches. In this match we have Full Circle BJJ’s Zachary Beeman vs Michael Hudak of Tackle Jiujitsu.

Almost immediately the fight was dragged into the backseat(literally), with Beeman pulling Hudak into the rear of the Durango via a sort of seatbelt giftwrap. The two would then find themselves in a battle for back control once in the backseat.

It felt as though the tide had begun to shift once Michael Hudak, the carjitsu veteran, escaped Beeman’s back control, and grabbed ahold of a nearby seatbelt…and then another seatbelt…and then another, proving that sometimes three seatbelts is two too many.

Eventually Beeman shucked off Hudak’s various seatbelting attempts and begun his assent from Mike’s heavy topside pressure and in fact out of the Durango entirely. Beeman, employing a tactic not unheard of, but new to the 2025 season of TGGL Carjitsu, briefly climbs on the roof of the vehicle.

By climbing on the roof of the car, Beeman skirts the carjitsu ring out policy, as his feet have not yet touched the ground of the gym. The move, whilst advantageous for escaping the danger of Michael Hudaks cadre of seatbelts, does have the disadvantage of now being more difficult to reengage the match.

After an eventual reentry by Beeman, we see Hudak asserting a heavy topside presence

And after another trek across the roof of the Durango, we see Hudak go for the forced ejection of Beeman via driver’s side rear window for the win.

What do you think of this new carjitsu tactic, ProGrapplers? Would you attempt this risky maneuver? Tell us why, or why not down below in the comments! And, as always, thank you for grappling!
