Ramage Makes His Mark As Finishers: Kombat 7 Crowns Two New Champions

Finishers: Kombat 7 rolled through on April 25, 2026, bringing the usual chaos cocktail of leg locks, late scrambles, and title-fight pressure. The card featured two championship matches, several submission wins, and a reminder that the Finishers format rarely lets anyone coast. But tucked inside a results sheet full of heel hooks and guillotines was one of the night’s more quietly important performances: Forrest Ramage’s unanimous decision victory over Stephen Eisner.

Ramage did not need a highlight-reel submission to make the statement. In a sport obsessed with finishes, sometimes the sharper message is control. A unanimous decision in this kind of environment says something different: you managed the danger, won the exchanges, and convinced every judge watching that the match belonged to you. Against Eisner, Ramage walked away with exactly that kind of win — not noisy, not accidental, but complete.

The rest of the card had plenty of fireworks. Ahmed Gebril opened the event with a Z-lock submission over Nevin Langan, setting the tone early. AJ Rivera later pulled off a comeback win by heel hook against Jawuan Coleman, while Jeremy Dekenipp submitted Mike Reina with a triangle armbar. Daniel Cohen also added a submission to the board, finishing Finishers veteran Jack Sudduth by ankle lock.

The title fights gave the event its biggest headline moments. Lauren Sears defeated Tali Isaacs by heel hook to become the new Finishers women’s flyweight champion, continuing her strong run on the U.S. superfight scene. In the main event, Connor Dixon captured the Finishers heavyweight title by submitting Cody Gamble with an arm-in guillotine.

Still, Ramage’s win deserves its own spotlight. Not every meaningful victory comes wrapped in a viral clip. Some come from staying composed while the match tries to turn ugly, from making fewer mistakes than the other guy, and from forcing a decision that leaves no room for debate. Forrest Ramage defeated Stephen Eisner by unanimous decision, and on a night crowded with submissions, that result still carried weight.
