Recently, while in town to witness and take part in some of the TGGL’s summer grappling league, Jeremiah Butler set eyes upon the sort of beauty that can only be described as a 2000 Dodge Durango. Immediately enamored, Butler knew what he had to do:…Step into the driver’s seat and go at it in the car. Tackle’s Michael Hudak was more than willing to show him the ropes.

Hudak, being no stranger to the backseat of a mid-nineties SUV, is currently ranked 7th in the TGGL Carjitsu standings, whereas Butler remains unranked at the time of this publication.
The match kicks off with Hudak out of his seatbelt first, and trying to put the pressure on Butler.

Butler defends well, maintaining his composure, and keeping good frames, making it difficult on Hudak to launch a solid attack.
And then there was the shove! Hudak, seemingly frustrated by Butler’s unwillingness to accept a cheap, easy sub, launches into Jeremiah, ousting him from the driver’s seat, but not yet fully out of the car.

Almost gleefully, Hudak begins to press the matter…and by press the matter, I mean he begins to stomp Jeremiah Butler out of the car, and to the ground, garnering the win via ring-out.

What do you think of Mike’s tactic here? Would you attempt similar, given the skill level of an opponent such as Butler? Let me know what tactic you’d employ in the Durango down below! And, as always, thank you for grappling.
