Taking a look at Mason Stanley going up against Evan Graham in the TGGL’s lightweight division. Evan fighting out of Tackle Jiujitsu currently holds 12 league points from a previous submission victory, whereas Levitate’s Mason Stanley is without league points as of the time of this match.
The match would begin with a sort of mutual takedown/guard pull. Mason would get the single-leg on Evan, but rather than fight it, we would see Evan look to build his guard early on, taking a strong defensive stance.

Somewhat early into the exchange we see Mason work his way up and isolate the arm of Evan Graham, but Graham defends well, rolling out of the exchange.
The match would prove to be an extremely close, back and forth sort of affair, with both men attempting numerous submissions, and both spent a somewhat equal time attacking and defending.

Ultimately the match would go the full length of six minutes without clear victory. After briefly debating several points, and possibly provoked by encouragement from the crowd, the judges opt for a sudden death round- First point wins…
Eventually the pressure and passing ability of Mason Stanley would win out! Mason gets the points by way of sudden death decision and the victory.

What a close match up! These two really went band for band in this TGGL scrap! Let me know your thoughts about in the comments down below! And, as always, thank you for grappling!
