We’ve been expecting this for a long time, since the Tackle Grapple Grappling League acquired the 2000 Dodge Durango in May 2025, but it seems it is finally happening – and it has been announced for February 28th 2026.
Sources say it will be a single elimination bracket with an open weight class. in 2024, Tackle’s Tyler Wittreich became the Tackle Car King, but in the haze of 2025, many formidable opponents have been cultivating their aptitude for car combat. Uriah Berzins was, of course, ranked #2 for most of last year but many eyes are on Luke Baeppler’s rise to power with his construction worker grips on the seatbelt.
Also exciting, Ben and Carter Brunskole, two brothers who are making their rounds in the ammy MMA scene, have already entered the bracket.
What remains to be seen, however, is the finale of TGGL2 …when will the final matches take place? December is already over and still no news.
