Today out of the TGGL we are taking a look at James Neeley of Stout PGH going up against Tackle Jiutjitsu’s Jack Baeppler. Jack enters the match with 8 league points, whereas Neeley enters this match without any present points.
Jack would strike first, shooting in for a takesdown, and getting what he came for, initially entering into side control, where we would see Neeley turtle as a response.

Jack would attempt to keep solid pressure on the turtled Neeley, however Neeley would really work at sucking in the far-side arm of Baeppler, making it hard for Jack to be dynamic.
We would see Neeley use the trapped arm of Baeppler to execute a kimura sweep, placing himself on the top side of side control.

Neeley would continue his attack on the arms of Baeppler, looking to lock up a sort of back-in arm bar, but he would not be able to hold onto the elbow of Baeppler.
Again, Neeley would use Baeppler’s arm against him as he kimura sweeps him yet again. Finding himself first in side control, and then in full mount.

Baeppler would attempt to stand up and bring things back to their feet, however Neeley was on it, and sent an armbar, getting the tap before hitting the ground. James Neeley takes the points, and the victory.

While Baeppler started the match strong, his energy soon faded at James Neeley’s relentless assault on Jack’s musclebound arms. Let me know what you thought about the match in the comments down below! And, as always, thank you for grappling!
