Another Leglock Shootout: McKinney Vs Alexander

Today we’re taking a look at Anthony McKinney facing off against Marsalis Alexander. McKinney, fighting out of Revolution Fight and Fitness comes into the match with 4 league points from a previous decision victory, and Marcy is without league points at the start of this match.

The action would get underway with Alexander pulling guard, preferring to not engage too much with McKinney in the stand-up portion of the sport.

Marsalis would be the first to bite, looking to go into a leg entry right away, but McKinney remains steadfast and confident as he rolls his leg out of the threat of danger.

McKinney would answer the leg entry with a leglock of his own, at one time going bellydown on a bite, Alexander having to eventually abandon his own leglock to defend the attack of McKinney.

Marsalis would be able to use his advantage in length to handily defend McKinney’s straight ankle attempt, however he would not find himself out of harm’s way just yet, as McKinney still had a controllable bite on the leg of Marsalis Alexander.

It is when McKinney switches to a heelhook that we really see the concern develop on Alexander’s face, now having to put all of his focus on contaminating and defending McKinney’s leglock assault. McKinney would get the tap shortly thereafter, gaining the win and the points.

Let the subs keep on rolling! Another beautiful display of leglock defense and adaptability! Let me know what you thought about it down below in the comments! And, as always, thank you for grappling!
