In the weeks leading up to the inaugural season of TGGL, Tackle Jiujitsu has offered up a desirable selection of exhibition matches to act as precursor to the following league matches. In this match we have Tackle’s own David Orr facing Isaac Morisette (a good friend of Tackle).
Early on in the match we see an unconventional maneuver from Morisette as he chooses to decline his own seat, placing himself in a sort of side-guard. However, he soon changes strategy as Orr threatens with a seatbelt choke. The two soon progress into the backseat of the Durango, where they find themselves meaningfully entwined for a period of time.

Morisette passes Orr’s guard, only to be swept back into guard after both men are narrowly expelled from the passenger side door. After a back and forth skirmish involving no less than two separate seatbelts(and perhaps upwards of four?), Orr manages to secure a seatbelt choke on Morisette to take the victory in this exhibition carjitsu matchup.

What did you think of this carjitsu exhibition match? What tactics would you like to see attempted in future matchups? Let us know in the comments below! And, as always, thank you for grappling.
