In this carjitsu matchup, we would see Tyler Wittreich face off against Tristan Epling in the sacred arena that is a 2000 Dodge Durango inside of a gym that was once a warehouse(but also several other martial arts gyms) in the heart of Ohio’s jiujitsu country, Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
The match kicks off with Epling being the immediate aggressor, getting atop of Tyler and gaining control of the nearby seatbelt handily. Tristan using his experience in the gi to start working a sort of loop choke with the seatbelt immediately.
Wittreich would counter Epling’s pressure by attempting to free up some space by way of opening the door nearest to the two men.
The pressure would not however escape through that now open driver-side door, and Epling would continue the onslaught, now dragging Tyler over the center console by way of his head.
Epling would eventually pressure Wittreich into the second row of seats, and up against the rear door of the Durango, keeping his back to the roof of the arena at all times (protip).
The two would find themselves working into and indeed through the window of this classic fighting arena, Epling looking to further isolate the far-side arm of Wittreich, possibly looking to lock up a kimura.
Tyler Wittreich, by way of some sort of beautiful blitz, managed to underhook Epling, hurling him through the window, and out of the Durango for win via ring-out!
